It is finally fall, and sweltering. Will the earth end tomorrow--I doubt it. It takes a lot to destroy the world, and I personally do not believe it can be done. It is sweltering, and unhealthy in humidity, but it is fall. I can crank up the air and watch leaves drift from the window, though they are probably fainting from heat, not turning.
Pumpkins are out, squirrels scamper. I want to gather all of the natural harvest, and to munch on the tiny concord grapes appearing in the stores. Is it me, or are the apples redder this time of year---
